We are seeking an experienced

Business Development Manager

to lead and drive the business development efforts for our growing software house. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of lead generation professionals, a proposal writer, and B2B sales executives, while being responsible for identifying new business opportunities, optimizing existing processes, and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to close deals.

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and achieving key performance metrics (KPIs). You will have a direct impact on the company’s growth, shaping the future direction of the business. Your leadership and ability to secure new business will contribute significantly to our success in the competitive software development market. You will work closely with senior management to implement strategies that will elevate our company to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team consisting of Lead Generation Executives and B2B Sales Executives.

Implement effective KPIs and track the performance of the team, ensuring efficient and consistent achievement of sales targets.

Provide ongoing training to team members to enhance their skills in business development, sales strategies, and client engagement.

Business Growth

Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients to drive growth for the company.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand the company’s client base and revenue streams.

Establish and execute plans to refine and improve the sales and business development processes of the existing team.

Build long-term relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business.

Deal Closing and Negotiation

Take ownership of closing deals with new clients, including the preparation and negotiation of contracts, pricing, and project timelines.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with client expectations.

Market Research & Strategy

Conduct regular market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Develop sales strategies to identify and capitalize on market opportunities through various online and networking channels.

Manage and execute inside sales strategies to generate new business through proactive outreach, calls, and follow-ups.

Create and manage targeted email campaigns aimed at prospecting, lead nurturing, and closing deals.

Analyze campaign results and optimize email outreach strategies for improved lead conversion rates.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, clarify project requirements, and present tailored proposals.

Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

Reporting & Analytics

Provide regular progress reports to senior management, including sales forecasts, key performance metrics, and areas of improvement.

Analyze business development performance and identify areas for growth and optimization.

Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, IT, AI, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in business development within a software house, with a focus on AI and web development projects.

Proven track record in business development and sales, particularly in the software or technology industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Deep understanding of web development technologies, frontend and backend frameworks.

Analytical skills to track KPIs, measure success, and refine strategies.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Previous experience working with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Proven track record of closing high-value deals and building long-term client relationships.

Expertise in digital marketing strategies, market research, and sales forecasting.

Familiarity with managing international clients in various regions.
