What is Manager Strategy & Investment?

Manager Strategy & investment entails engaging with key stakeholders to deliver on overall strategy, planning & direction of DFS (Digital Financial Services) division. The role reports directly to the Head of Strategy & Growth, has one person reporting directly into it with an extended team of 6 team members.

Responsibilities

• Primarily lead and support (in some cases) in the annual strategy cycle through Strategy workshops, stakeholder alignment, strategy paper formulation and associated presentations in addition to group assigned strategy related tasks.
• Articulate business strategy through clearly defined goals and KPIs. Monitor KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against strategic objectives.
• Periodic strategy reviews and subsequent recommendations of improvements to existing business strategy.
• Communicate strategy and periodic updates to the organization at large.
• Development of strategy and investment projects presentations for the management when required.
• Assess existing markets, financial and ancillary markets and macro-economic trends. Make recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats and viability of outside business partners.
• Liaise with & respond to Group queries after alignment with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with the industry specialists and research entities.
