Job Summary

We are looking for a Manager of Procurement and Administration who is passionate about effective communication and coordination with customers around new, ongoing, or future procurement requirements. Responsibilities would include scoping hardware, with the help of the projects team, and working with Engineering, Project Management, and Security departments to ensure correct hardware is procured at the best price and delivered on time and according to customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Work with procurement companies for quotes, purchase orders, invoicing, etc.
  • Research suppliers and vendors that meet the goals of the company.
  • Meet with supervisors and department heads to understand the needs across the company.
  • Forecast needs and supplies.
  • Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Delegate tasks to the procurement team (at a larger company).
  • Train new employees and support team members as necessary (at a larger company).
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure the company is making the best decisions.
  • Find suppliers that have certain certifications, accreditation, and insurance, along with a steady stream of materials that fit within budget restraints.
  • Work with the AM team for change orders.
  • Work with the PMO team for scoping and pricing.
  • Prepare change orders.
  • Prepare and manage SOWs.
  • Job Specification

    Requirements

  • Masters in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a buyer.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Self-motivator.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Proficiency in inventory and RFP / SOW management.
