Required experience : Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup / recovery Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude Experience using traditional web technologies Minimum of 3 years work experience Experience administering Linux / CentOS servers Optional : Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language This role involves : Installing and configuring software Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues and bug fixes Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure through access controls, backups and firewalls etc. Manage network servers and technology tools Set up accounts and workstations Upgrade systems with new releases and models Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Core Hours & Benefits : Core Hours : Monday - Friday from 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm US Pacific Time. On Call : As we deal in infrastructure business therefore needs to be available on call after core hours as well on an as necessary basis.
