Senior Network Administrator - Data Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to oversee and maintain the Data Center network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, configuration, and optimization of network devices, ensuring seamless operation of HIMS, SAP, and other critical services. The role also involves securing and managing firewalls, switches, SFP switches, and related networking equipment. Job Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for the data center. Configure and manage firewalls, switches, and SFP switches. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability. Security & Compliance : Implement and maintain network security policies to protect sensitive data. Regularly update firewall rules and security configurations. Ensure compliance with the industry’s best practices and data security regulations. System Support & Optimization : Ensure smooth integration and operation of HIMS, SAP, and other critical applications. Optimize network traffic flow and reduce latency for improved performance. Collaborate with application and server teams for effective system operations. Troubleshooting & Incident Response : Perform root cause analysis and resolve network-related issues. Provide Level 3 support for critical network-related incidents. Maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and change logs. Prepare periodic reports on network performance, issues, and improvements. Document security policies, incident reports, and compliance audits. Upgrades & Future Planning : Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansion projects. Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend improvements. Ensure hardware and software are up to date and supported. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred. 5+ years of experience in network administration, preferably in data centers. Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, VLANs, and routing protocols. Expertise in managing HIMS, SAP, and enterprise-level network security. Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking devices. Proficiency in firewall configurations, VPN setup, and network segmentation. Experience in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios. Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid data center environments.
