The Deputy Director Nationwide Network Operations Support leads the strategic and operational management of access network infrastructure and financial controls, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of data center and power systems, while driving cost control, budgeting, and financial discipline. This role balances technical infrastructure management with strategic financial oversight, optimizing resources, aligning operations with business goals, and supporting sustainable growth. Job Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and execution of access network, data center, and power system operations to ensure service excellence and organizational goals achievement. Oversee lifecycle management including business case development, procurement, and contract management for critical infrastructure upgrades and replacements. Conduct regular and structured regional visits to assess access network operations and maintenance, and collaborate with regional teams, vendors and HQ NOMC to address key issues on priority. Manage renewal and performance governance of support agreements with OEMs and vendors for power and environmental infrastructure. Conduct and supervise Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for major outages and implement preventive actions to improve network reliability. Design and enforce compliance frameworks through risk assessments and inspections aligned with corporate and regulatory standards. Drive inventory optimization and forecasting for spare parts management based on failure trends and network expansion plans. Champion process automation, digitalization, and regular updating of SOPs and operational playbooks to enhance operational efficiency. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the network infrastructure evolves with service requirements. Act as mentor and escalation point for regional operations teams, fostering operational excellence and consistency. Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes for network operations and infrastructure projects. Develop and implement cost control policies and best practices to optimize OPEX. Monitor actual costs against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Support audit processes related to cost control, budgeting, and operational compliance. Lead and mentor a team of cost analysts, budgeting professionals, and network operations staff. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Education
In principle Minimum of Bachelors degree in Electrical / Telecom Engineering or similar domains and similar nature of experience Experience
Minimum Experience : 8 yrs. or Above
