Network & Database Administrator

Overview

Zenith Innovations, a leading software company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, is seeking a talented Network / Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network / Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure and databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor network performance and security to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems.
• Administer and optimize databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and integrity.
• Plan and execute database backup and recovery procedures to minimize data loss and downtime.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot database applications and solutions.
• Install and configure database software and associated components.
• Perform routine network and database maintenance tasks, such as patching, updates, and system optimizations.
• Respond to and resolve network and database-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Document network and database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
