Your Role We are looking for a skilled and detail-orientedDatabase Engineerwith strong experience inreporting and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining our databases, while also generating business-critical reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Requirements : - Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases. - Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data extraction and transformation. - Develop, schedule, and automate recurring and ad hoc reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights. - Monitor database performance and implement tuning solutions to improve efficiency. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems. - Assist in data migration, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. - Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, and documentation efforts. - Work closely with data analysts, software engineers, and QA teams. What You Need : - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - 1–3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong proficiency inSQL(PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle). - Hands-on experience withreporting and visualization toolslikePower BI, SSRS, Tableau, or Looker. - Familiarity withETL processesand data warehousing concepts. - Experience withperformance tuning and query optimization. - Knowledge of data security and compliance standards. - Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or similar (preferred). - Excellent communication and analytical skills.
