Sr. System And Archive Engineer (IT)

Minimum Qualification : 2nd class graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Telecom Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.

Responsibilities :

• Operations and maintenance of playout server.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems; support and resolve user requests.
• Analyze issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure smooth hardware, software, services, and application operations.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Liaise with ICT personnel for problem resolution.
• Maintain virtual infrastructure.
• Assemble, catalog, preserve, and manage valuable collections daily.
• Locate necessary files from computers or other sources as required.
• Manage issuance and return of materials on relevant IT systems and physical storage.
• Digitize IPT and transmission archives provided by DSNG, NLE, and Fixed Link desks.
• Document archival resources.

Job Specification :

Minimum of 4 years' experience in implementation, operations, and support of databases, software, web, video conferencing, IT operations, e-learning, networks, data centers, or security, preferably in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies, ideally at BPS-14 or equivalent.
