System Administrator Microsoft

Job responsibilities :

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and server hardware.

Manage server roles and features, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Print Services.

Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Administer Active Directory, including user and group management, group policy management, and domain controller configuration.

Ensure the security and integrity of Active Directory, including implementing access controls, auditing policies, and password policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory-related issues, such as authentication problems and replication issues.

Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Microsoft environments, including regular backups of servers, databases, and critical data.

Test backup and recovery procedures regularly to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect Microsoft systems and infrastructure from security threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.

Install security patches, updates, and hotfixes on servers and workstations in a timely manner to mitigate security risks.
