CMR Business Development Representative

Motive is building a world-class Business Development Representative (BDR) program to accelerate the development of high-performing talent for Sales Development Representative (SDR) and Account Executive (AE) positions. This initiative is designed to strategically expand Motive's reach into untapped market segments, driving sustained business growth and fostering future sales leadership. Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Motive, you will play a crucial role in generating early-stage sales activity and enriching our pipeline for the CMR segment (CFS 10-49). This intensive program is designed to develop your sales skills and prepare you for future growth within Motive. You will receive comprehensive training and coaching, with clear milestones for ramp-up and promotion eligibility. Key Responsibilities

Identify and qualify, execute outbound campaigns through various channels (calls, emails). Schedule initial sales meetings and ensure high demo attendance rates. Conduct early-stage discovery conversations and effectively handle initial objections. Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene and accurately update pipeline status. Research, validate, and enrich prospect and company data using leading sales tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Gemini). Accurately update and maintain lead records in the CRM in line with Motive standards. Qualify, nurture, and convert prospects through outbound outreach and tailored communications. Quality Assurance

Actively participate in peer-reviewing Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) to ensure quality standards. Attain and maintain all required certifications relevant to the role. Qualifications

1 year of experience in B2B or B2C sales, data operations, or equivalent work experience. Experience or strong interest in outbound sales, prospecting, or lead enrichment (SaaS or technology sector experience is a plus). Familiarity with CRM systems and online research platforms preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to develop a career in sales. What We Offer
