Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer in Jhelum Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Lead and complete breakdown and preventive maintenance of machinery to ensure uninterrupted operations, while managing maintenance budgets and quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrate hands-on expertise in cigarette packing technologies (e.g., GDX3, GDXW Relock, AM14, C600, C800, Stamper, Inserter, Case Packers) and their maintenance protocols. Drive performance within the maintenance team by setting departmental objectives, identifying skill gaps, and implementing targeted development plans. Lead all aspects of machine conversions to meet demand, manage spare parts usage, and strictly enforce EH&S compliance across all technical activities. Collaborate with SMD and services teams to gather feedback and optimize maintenance quality and operational execution. Champion innovation and process improvement by standardizing equipment modifications and adopting technologies that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Foster cross-functional collaboration through the sharing of standard processes, platforms, and takeaways across sites and departments. Apply SAP-based preventive maintenance tools (e.g., task lists, maintenance plans, spare parts issuance) for efficient planning and reporting. What are we looking for? BTech or DAE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 1 – 3 years of experience in maintenance and operation of cig packing modules. Possess working knowledge of ERP systems. Experience in leading a team. Strong management and analytical skills with the ability to innovate. Understanding of maintenance standards and techniques, with knowledge of basic AM & PM concepts.
