Job Description :

Qualification & Experience :

BA / BSc / MSc
10-15 years of relevant experience
Academic qualifications in Transport Management or related field
Retired from ASC / EME or experienced in transportation operations and fleet management
Experience in vehicle maintenance supervision

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and ensure the readiness of NUST Transport fleet

Enforce transport policies and safety regulations

Ensure drivers are familiar with Pakistan Highway Code and possess valid licenses

Regular vehicle inspections and maintenance updates

Monitor POL consumption

Ensure staff and drivers adhere to service norms and dress code

Arrange centralized transport for staff and students within Islamabad / Rawalpindi & Taxila

Manage transport for school-going children of NUST employees

Handle issuance and receipt of transport services to users

Procure spare parts, tyres, batteries as per SOPs

Provide transport services to officers, faculty, and staff on payment basis

Oversee vehicle repairs and maintenance in workshops

Manage campus shuttle services for students

Supervise hired transport for student pick & drop services

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Vehicle operation, documentation, and maintenance

Traffic regulations and road safety laws

Training and Certification :

Fleet Management (over 10 years)

Logistics / Transport Management Training

Terms & Conditions :

Attach scanned copies of academic and professional documents

Educational certificates must be attested / verified by HEC

Ineligibility Conditions :

Less than one year of service at NUST or lack of NOC

In pursuit of required degrees

Medically unfit
