ROLE OF SM :
This position entitles and empowers you to lead our sales teams in specific cities, qualitatively. You will ensure productivity of team individuals and focus on efficient utilization of company finances. You will manage the company budget allocated for marketing campaigns effectively. Frequent travelling and field work (up to 70% of the time) is required, and you are expected to work under a great deal of stress and tremendous pressure. You are expected to attain up-to-date technical information of our products in the dermatology and gynecology segments, evaluate market trends, and gather competitive information. Responsibilities include :
- Forecasting and sales tracking.
- Setting the vision for the areas and developing business plans to attain this vision.
- Leading the sales teams, managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development.
- Providing quality leadership for customers in all assigned tasks while upholding company values.
- Achieving sales targets, revenues, and profitability for all products.
- Directing selling activities within cities / territories, including resource deployment and customer interactions.
- Liaising with all distributors for timely orders and payments, ensuring prompt availability at desired chemists.
- Being accountable for achieving sales targets of all areas and profitability goals.
Your role will provide direction and leadership to the field district staff while also being responsible for customer satisfaction and market share within each region.
Job Specification
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
To achieve Sales Targets for assigned cities, manage and retain all KEY ACCOUNTS (Investment Drs), and their sales. Responsibilities include :
Managing inventory at all Distributors at the national level.Ensuring availability of products as per bricks planning and sales.Grooming and developing DSMs as effective managers.Hiring, training, and evaluating sales staff.Performing effective market research for existing and new products.Appraising team members on Rx Format.Ensuring touring costs in any territory do not exceed 10% of the revenue generated.Covering all potential towns / cities.Justifiably consuming all DRF funds allocated.Monitoring and controlling Field Force Performance / activities.Providing Brick Wise Sales of all territories (duly verified) to DM.Providing Monthly Work Plans of DSMs approved by SM.Providing Expense Reports of the entire team to DM.Submitting call return reports after every visit outside Karachi to MD and DM.Providing Work plan of self to DM by the last working day of each month.Presenting monthly brick wise sales to MD.Information Technology and Services - Karachi, Pakistan
