Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • The candidate must have a proven track record of achieving provided sales targets.
  • Capable of developing and implementing plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.
  • Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Works with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
  • Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Assists in resolving installation, collections, and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.
  • Assists customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommends suitable resolutions accordingly.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense tracking.
  • Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars.
  • Fostering relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and stockists.
  • Keeps current on market business and product trends.
  • Capable of presenting solutions to C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and public-speaking skills.

Job Specification

  • Excellent working knowledge of a variety of systems i.e., High-Rise Fire Alarm, Campus Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Mass Notification, Gaseous Suppression, Pre-action Sprinkler, fire hydrant.
  • Diverse knowledge of sales for IP and Analog-based Surveillance and Security Systems with good knowledge of technologies related to Camera, NVR, DVR.
  • Access Control System involving proximity reader solutions, automatic gates, turnstiles, etc.
  • Maintenance, inspection, and testing service agreements / contracts related to the above-mentioned business verticals.
  • Conduct / Facilitate client premises surveys individually and / or support the technical team to measure the cost factors involved as pre-sales activity.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
  • Basic level knowledge for technical comparison among a variety of products.
