Senior Design Engineers

Overview

Human Resources Assistant at Cavalier Group of Companies. We are looking for Design Engineers with CSWE (Certified SolidWorks Expert). The role focuses on 3D design work in automotive applications. Responsibilities

Execute the design, analysis, application, and testing for packages ranging from unique components, subassemblies, powertrains, and chassis and exteriors for special automotive vehicles Carry out functional analysis by calculation and FEA Design components within a very tight packaging environment with creative flair Own a whole system from initial concept, design, test plan creation, to system validation Knowledge of materials, machining, casting, and additive processes for low-volume manufacture is preferred Good surfacing skills are an advantage Document and communicate results of generated technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures to senior technical leaders, internal and external customers Understand customer requirements for Product Design, evaluate the time required for execution, follow up with the client, and ensure timely project completion Create 3D CAD Models from scratch from idea to finished product Produce realistic renders of 3D Models Create 3D models from existing physical parts using good reverse engineering practices Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree; Automotive preferred 1 to 3 years of prior automotive experience is preferred Experience with 3D rendering software such as KeyShot CAD experience - Proficient in SolidWorks or PTC Creo Strong organizational and communication skills CSWE (Certified SolidWorks Expert) or equivalent certification is preferred Senioriry level
