Job Description :

Cavalier Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry and strong proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical schematics, harness layouts, and component integration for automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Created and maintained detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and 2D / 3D harness designs using CAD Modelling Software.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Support vehicle-level electrical architecture development and assist in the selection of electrical components and systems.
• Review and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other documentation related to electrical designs.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA sessions , and troubleshooting activities during prototype builds and validation phases.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability .
• Assist in change management processes and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and project requirements.
