Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations at a petrol station. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting functions, cash reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash reconciliations, bank deposits, and accounts receivable / payable.
- Maintain accurate records of fuel, lubricant, and shop item inventory.
- Prepare financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Coordinate with station managers, head office, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Report daily sales, shortages, and variances clearly and accurately.
Job Specification
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Hands-on experience with accounting software (added advantage).Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reconciliations).Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.High integrity and trustworthiness in handling cash transactions.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.Job Rewards and Benefits
