Requirements

At least one year experience as truck dispatcher in a USA / Canada based campaign.

Knowledge about geography of USA and Canada.

Knowledge about various truck types.

Job Duties

Identify and book suitable freight loads using load boards (e.g., DAT, TruckStop, etc.)

Schedule pickups and deliveries based on driver availability, equipment type, and delivery windows

Match loads to available trucks efficiently to minimize empty miles and maximize revenue

Coordinate with brokers, shippers, and receivers to ensure smooth pick-up and delivery

Prepare and manage necessary paperwork including rate confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and PODs

Ensure drivers comply with FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety standards

Negotiate rates with freight brokers and build long-term business relationships

Update internal systems with load status, payment details, and documentation
