This is a full-time remote role for an Upwork Bidder. The Upwork Bidder will be responsible for identifying potential clients on Upwork and other platforms, writing personalized proposals, bidding on suitable projects, following up with clients, and building strong client relationships. The role also involves understanding client needs, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that project deadlines and goals are met. Responsibilities
Identify potential clients on Upwork and other platforms. Write personalized, high-quality proposals addressing client pain points and clearly outlining our solution, timeline, and next steps. Bid on suitable projects, follow up with clients, and book discovery calls for the delivery team. Run pre-proposal Q&A with prospects to clarify scope and improve win rate. Negotiate scope, pricing, and milestones; move deals toward calls or direct hires. Maintain organized pipelines, response SLAs, and daily bid targets. Use AI tools (responsibly) to research profiles, summarize briefs, and accelerate first drafts—then refine manually for quality. Track and report weekly metrics : proposals sent, response rate, calls booked, win rate, and revenue influenced. Collaborate with delivery to package case studies, portfolio items, and reusable proposal assets. Qualifications
Source, qualify, and prioritize relevant Shopify / Shopify Plus opportunities on Upwork. Craft tailored, error-free proposals that address client pain points and clearly outline our solution, timeline, and next steps. Demonstrated Shopify experience (themes, apps, store setup, CRO, or dev coordination). Proven Upwork experience (profile navigation, filters, boost strategy, JSS awareness). Excellent English writing and speaking — clear, concise, and persuasive. Negotiation ability — handle objections, propose alternatives, close with confidence. Skilled use of AI for research and drafting while maintaining human-quality output. Copywriting & persuasion — strong hooks, outcomes, social proof, and CTAs. Zero-defect written English — no grammar / spelling / punctuation errors. Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with Shopify apps (Klaviyo, Recharge, PageFly, Judge.me, etc.). Basic technical fluency (Liquid, theme customization, app integrations). CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting. Experience with Loom, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace. What We’ll Evaluate
