Civil Engineer - Sales Intern

Job Summary :

We are seeking an enthusiastic Civil Engineer - Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will support the sales department in promoting civil engineering products and services, preparing proposals, assisting with technical sales presentations, and building relationships with clients. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineering student or fresh graduate to gain hands-on experience in technical sales while applying their engineering knowledge in a business context.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Support in preparing technical proposals, bids, and quotations.

Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements.

Help deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.

Liaise with the engineering team to ensure client requirements are accurately communicated.

Conduct market research to analyze competitors and industry trends.

Maintain records of sales leads, client interactions, and progress reports.

Support the preparation of sales reports and forecasts.

Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the sales manager.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree (ongoing or completed) in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Strong interest in sales, business development, and customer interaction.

Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction processes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Valid drivers license (if site visits are required).
