Job description

Position : Civil Engineer

Qualifications : DAE / BE / BTECH / BTECH HONS with Certified PEC, etc.

Experience : Professional with work pertaining to Pakistan branch / building projects.

Salary Range : Starting from 15,000 (junior / beginner) to 75,000 (professional elite), depending on cadre and experience.

Work activities can include :

  • Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
  • Using computer software for detailed designs
  • Performing complex calculations and full command on Primavera
  • Liaising with clients, architects, subcontractors
  • Compiling job specifications and supervising tendering
  • Resolving design and development problems
  • Managing budgets and resources
  • Scheduling materials and equipment
  • Ensuring legal compliance, especially health and safety
  • Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time
  • Preparing bills, BBS, and measurement sheets daily
  • Creating project work schedules

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Supervises junior staff regarding construction, operations, and maintenance tasks.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Consulting with stakeholders on engineering requirements
  • Using design software to communicate designs
  • Assessing structural strength and setting specifications
  • Planning projects based on drawings, surveys, and reports
  • Estimating materials, labor, and costs
  • Collaborating with architects and contractors
  • Monitoring project progress and safety standards
  • Inspecting and maintaining structures upon project completion

    • Education and Experience :

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's preferred. Licensure as PE required.

    Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged sitting and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to travel to project sites
  • Access to and navigation of job sites and construction areas

    • Software commands include Primavera, ETAB, MATLAB.
