The Manager – Cloud Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth across Enterprise, Financial Services, and Public Sector segments by positioning the company’s Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Managed Services portfolio. This role combines strategic account management, solution selling, and ecosystem development to accelerate cloud adoption and support customers through their digital transformation journeys.
Job Description
Achieve quarterly and annual cloud revenue targets across assigned verticals.
Develop and implement account penetration strategies to drive pipeline creation and conversion.
Drive cloud consumption and workloads migration across IaaS / PaaS / SaaS offerings.
Manage pricing proposals, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.
Own end-to-end sales cycle : prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, and closing.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and Procurement teams.
Conduct customer discovery to identify cloud use cases, workload challenges, and migration opportunities.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
Work closely with Pre-Sales, Cloud Architects, and Product teams to design tailor‑made cloud solutions.
Translate customer needs into clear solution constructs, including architecture, commercials, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
Understand multi‑cloud and hybrid architectures, data residency needs, and workload migration pathways.
4. Market Development & Lead Generation
Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments.
Drive demand‑generation initiatives including events, webinars, digital campaigns, and channel‑led programs.
Provide competitive intelligence, market insights, and industry trends to leadership.
Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, resellers, and technology partners.
Support partners with training, pipeline development, co‑selling, and enablement.
Leverage alliances to create joint value propositions and expand market reach.
6. Governance, Compliance & Reporting
Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene.
Ensure all deals comply with regulatory, security, and data sovereignty requirements.
Prepare sales reports, account plans, and business reviews for leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
5–8+ years of enterprise sales experience in Cloud, SaaS, Data Center, or ICT solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and pipeline targets.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS), virtualization, networking, security, and cloud economics.
Experience selling to FSI, enterprise, or public sector customers.
Prior experience working with system integrators, channel partners, or hyperscalers is a plus.
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal‑writing abilities.
High drive, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Team player with cross‑functional collaboration capability.
