Import Operation Executive

Daily Execution :

Responsible for timely communication via e-mails received from F-Agents and Clients and taking appropriate actions.

Monitoring daily status of Delivery Orders and advising necessary instructions to the concerned staff for Delivery Instructions, wherever required.

Distributing Routing Orders & Pre alerts information among concerned staff at Air & Sea sections.

Monitoring Daily Activity Reports from Staff as well as Head Office, giving necessary instructions to staff regarding handling of critical shipments.

Preparation of Invoices to Consignees through coordination with Sales & Accounts department; feeding data into Accounts System and making sure dispatch to customers in a timely manner.

Responsible for ensuring timely actions / replies against all mails, discrepancies, etc. as received from operations team.

Ensuring smooth flow and execution of operational activities.

Responsible for making sure completion of Job File prior to arrival of shipment and all concerned documents.

Responsible for exercising due diligence before payments on behalf of clients by company or its staff to airlines, Govt. Departments or any other third party where it is required by operation staff on a day-to-day basis.

Ensuring payments / receipts reporting in a timely manner.

Responsible for reporting of events to senior management.

Job Specification

Daily Supervision :

Import Shipments Data & Record keeping.

Coordinating / Updating Daily Activity Report (initiated by H.O.)

Manifestation / Indexation in case of By Air Shipments

Amendment Letters to Shipping Lines for manifestation of Consol Shipments

Delivery Order Collection & Issuance Process-By Air Shipments

B / L Endorsement Process-By Sea Shipments

Preparation of Freight Invoices & Issuance

Any operational requirement from Branches / Upcountry and Customers including Transhipment Handling, Bonded Carriers Movements, Indemnity / Bank Guarantees, & similar technical matters.

Periodical / Special Report :

Updating Import Rules & Regulations-Govt. Depts, Carriers, Regulating Authorities, etc. and informing / sharing / circulating among all concerned at Head Office and Branch Offices.
