Riphah International University is seeking a detail-oriented Account Payables Executive with expertise in real estate accounting to manage accounts payable functions efficiently. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in finance and brings a minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably within the real estate industry. This role focuses on processing and reconciling invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The position requires proficiency in accounts payable management, ERP software, and accounts payable software to support the university's financial operations. The Account Payables Executive operates independently without team management responsibilities and plays a critical role in the university's financial processes by maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to ensure seamless financial transactions related to real estate accounts.
Responsibilities
Manage the entire accounts payable process, including receiving, verifying, and processing invoices related to real estate transactions.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices by adhering to payment schedules and university policies.
Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable records against vendor statements to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Utilize ERP systems and accounts payable software to enter, track, and archive financial data with high accuracy.
Coordinate with procurement and finance departments to verify invoice approvals and resolve any billing issues promptly.
Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
Support the month-end and year-end closing activities by providing necessary accounts payable information and reports.
Monitor and ensure compliance with university policies, financial regulations, and real estate industry practices in all accounts payable activities.
Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and clarify invoice issues.
Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in finance or related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate accounting
Proficiency in accounts payable management, ERP software, and accounts payable software
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration across departments
Ability to work independently without direct team management responsibilities
