Accounts Receivables Executive Real Estate

Overview

Riphah International University is seeking a diligent Accounts Receivables Executive specializing in Real Estate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management within the real estate sector, demonstrating expertise in managing credit control, performing reconciliations, and utilizing ERP software effectively. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can accurately track incoming payments, maintain customer accounts, and support financial operations to ensure timely cash flow. The position requires a bachelor's degree in finance and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Exposure to real estate accounting practices is highly desirable. This role does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with various internal departments and external clients to maintain efficient accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage all aspects of accounts receivables within the real estate sector, ensuring accurate recording and timely collection of payments.

Perform credit control duties including evaluating customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and following up on overdue accounts to minimize financial risk.

Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts receivable ledger to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Utilize ERP software to record transactions, generate financial reports, and maintain up-to-date records of all receivable activities.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to facilitate communication regarding payment schedules, inquiries, and disputes.

Collaborate with other departments such as sales, legal, and finance to coordinate invoicing, resolve billing issues, and improve collection efficiency.

Prepare detailed aging reports and summaries to assist management in monitoring outstanding debts and cash flow projections.

Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to receivables and financial reporting.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate receivable data and documentation for audits.

Stay informed on real estate industry trends and regulatory changes that might impact receivable management processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, preferably in real estate accounting.

Strong experience with credit control, reconciliations, and ERP software.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
