• Implementation and support of SQL clusters in active / active and active passive configurations.
• Implementing and maintaining Log Shipping.
• Implement and maintain transactional replication.
• Work with developers on improving sub-optimal stored procedures.
• Ongoing performance monitoring and troubleshooting utilizing native MS tools (sysmon, Profiler, SQLDiag etc).
• Automation of administrative tasks using T-SQL scripts / SQL Agent.
• SQL Security administration on both 2000 and 2005 security models.
• Implementation and administration of DTS, SSIS and Reporting Services.
• DB server capacity planning in a rapidly growing environment.
