Senior Engineer - Quality Control

Bachelors in Industrial Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Master’s Degree shall be preferred. Candidates having experience of Quality Control in a reputable manufacturing shall be an added advantage.

Responsibilities :

• To ensure timely and effective completion of the quality control periodic monitoring process.
• To provide professional and timely support to the team to implement, control and monitor Quality Assurance and compliance related matters, in accordance with company requirements.
• To understand and facilitate reporting requirements in relation to the work of Quality Assurance.
• To foster good and consistent quality assurance and assessment practices across the Plant.
• To document business processes within the area of Quality Assurance & Quality Enhancement in the organization to provide business continuity.
• To ensure that the organization’s quality assurance and quality enhancement processes are reviewed and updated periodically to reflect any changes in requirements.
• To inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• To calibrate domestic gas meters according to the international standard of EN 1359 at different flow rates.
• To ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
• To undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS ISO 9001 : 2015.
• To ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non-conformities found.
• To ensure that the function operates in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
• To develop safety policies to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• To collaborate with other departments to develop and implement controls and improvements.
• To be a team player who continues to improve as an individual and helps the team achieve successful goal attainment.
• To prepare drawings and specifications of different procured components of gas meters, equipment, and machines.
