Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP)
to act as the primary people advisor to one or more ventures or business units within the Disrupt.com Group. This role is instrumental in translating business strategy into scalable people solutions—enabling high-performance, founder‑led teams to grow with speed, agility, and cohesion. Working closely with founders, team leads, and functional heads, you will shape organizational design, build leadership capability, and drive people strategies that fuel innovation and scale.
Expectations from the Role As a Strategic HRBP, you will operate as a trusted advisor and thought partner to startup founders and BU leadership. You will lead initiatives across
org design, workforce planning, performance enablement, leadership development, and change management , while championing culture and employee experience at the venture level. This role requires close collaboration with the
People COE, Talent Acquisition, and People Excellence
teams to ensure that HR interventions are tailored, impactful, and grounded in the realities of startup growth. A deep understanding of entrepreneurial environments and comfort with ambiguity and experimentation are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the strategic HR partner for assigned venture(s) or BU(s), aligning talent strategy with business growth objectives.
Support and advise leaders on org design, workforce planning, team structure, and talent planning to enable scale and agility.
Drive the implementation of performance management systems, feedback culture, and development planning at the team level.
Identify and develop internal high‑potential talent and leadership pipelines for key roles.
Coach and advise leaders on people management, team effectiveness, and leadership development.
Use people analytics and team health data to proactively address retention, engagement, and capability gaps.
Lead or support cross‑functional projects related to culture, change management, and strategic workforce planning.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to define hiring needs, success profiles, and onboarding strategies.
Collaborate with People Ops and Total Rewards on policy, benefits, and performance‑based compensation.
Qualifications and Experience
Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience : ~10+ years of progressive experience in HR, including at least 2–3 years in a strategic HRBP or generalist role. Prior experience in high‑growth startups, technology ventures, or innovation‑led organizations is highly desirable.
