Manager Supply Chain / Head Of Supply Chain

Master's / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

The Manager Supply Chain, serving as the Head of the Department, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, with a focus on import processes.

This role entails strategic planning, procurement, logistics management, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective import operations. The Manager Supply Chain will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive excellence in supply chain management.

Job Specification

Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on import operations, ideally in a manufacturing or trading environment.

Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, INCO terms, and international trade practices.

Proficiency in import documentation, including letters of credit, bills of lading, import licenses, and customs clearance documents.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement costs.

Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other technology tools used for inventory control and logistics management.
