Procurement Executive

Riphah International University is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement process by ensuring that our organization secures the best products and services while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role is integral to enhancing our supply chain and will involve negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Candidates should have a solid background in procurement practices, particularly within the healthcare sector, and possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Procurement Executive will work closely with various departments, ensuring that the procurement needs are met effectively and in a timely manner, while adhering to quality standards and budgetary constraints. The position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent collaboration skills to liaise effectively with other departments and external partners. Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and engage with suppliers to establish effective procurement strategies that align with our organizations objectives. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline processes, maintain procurement records, and analyze purchasing data to drive strategic decisions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication. Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contract terms, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine procurement needs, budget constraints, and specifications for products and services. Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, expenditure analysis, and opportunities for cost savings. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends in the procurement market, potential suppliers, and strategies to optimize purchasing processes. Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies and industry regulations while maintaining ethical standards in all procurement activities.
