Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance. A key focus will be managing UK VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping through QuickBooks & Excel. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in working with UK-based companies. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable / receivable, reconciliations, and expense management. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in tax, NI, pensions, and statutory deductions. Maintain accurate financial records in Excel & QuickBooks (including multi-currency transactions). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Liaise with UK auditors, accountants, and tax advisors to ensure compliance. Implement and monitor internal financial controls. Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions. Handle FBR taxation and file tax returns in Pakistan to ensure compliance with local laws. Requirements
CA or ACCA qualified (mandatory). At least 2+ years working with UK-based companies. Hands-on expertise in VAT returns, payroll processing, HMRC compliance, and FBR taxation. Proficiency in QuickBooks (knowledge of other UK accounting software is a plus). Strong grasp of UK and Pakistan tax regulations and reporting standards. Excellent English communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Benefits
