A key account manager should analyze and determine the most important accounts in an organization at any one time. He / she should determine the most crucial needs of these key customers and carry them out to ensure that they receive first-class customer care and service. He / She should come up with a strategy to manage the account and set objectives about account management. He / she should interact and communicate with the client on a regular basis to determine changing tastes and preferences. He / She carries out continuous market analysis and research on the dynamics of the account. He / she should come up with a pricing structure for the client.
