Release Manager- IT

We are looking for an experienced Product Release Manager who will provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills in our Agile environment. This individual will be responsible for enforcing the rules of scrum, removing impediments from their teams while promoting self-management and constantly improving our standards of work. Upon Sprint completion, the Release Manager will oversee promotion and deployment of software to a production environment. Job Specification

Required Skills The candidate should have :

Must be a self-starter and be able to perform with minimal supervision while working in a diverse team environment following Agile processes for software development. 6+ years of experience in Release Management / SQA in software development or infrastructure projects. 3+ years experience with Agile Scrum. Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures. Well adapted with the Agile development methodology. Experience and passion for release management, build management, and change management. Strong leadership and technical skills. Experience setting customer expectations under pressure. Ability to troubleshoot. Ability to suggest and influence alternative approaches. Ability to manage time effectively, to work under time pressure, to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments, and pay close attention to detail. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.
