Ensure competitive bidding rules are adhered to; Ensure diligence in validating new suppliers (by completing supplier visits) before recommending to SBs. Achieve target savings (5% of addressable spend). Complete procurement process inline with the competitive bidding policy on PR's ranging from 100,001 - 1000,000 and handover to OB for conversion to PO. Identify opportunities (consolidation, rationalization, etc.) and cooperate with strategic buyers to define future course of action. Manage supplier performance and focus on smooth procurement operations Provide guidance and support to operational buyers and facilitate the resolution of issues. Ensure correct data reliability in the system (Short text, Material group, Delivery dates, Payment terms, etc.). Follow-up and escalation of operational issues with vendors. Allocation of PR to OB and SB as per agreed allocation criteria. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

Over a sustained period (2-3 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge. Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects. Has demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management. Has successfully negotiated in cross functional and cross market teams
