Job Brief :

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer - Warehouse for our newly formed joint venture DP World NLC Logistics. This role involves performing regular physical stock counts, verifying the physical stock against system records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory data is correctly updated in the warehouse management system (WMS). The position supports overall inventory accuracy, stock availability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Ensure 100% inventory accuracy by verifying the physical stock against the system record of the warehouse.

Execute six complete cycle counts for each customer in a six-month period.

Ensure cycle counts, slot audits and the reconciliation of activities between systems.

Review generated and verified system generated reports.

Ensure physical audit for inbound and outbound activities on daily basis.

Regularly conducts inventory and transactional checks.

Ensure product integrity by monitoring shipments and expiries, with special emphasis on expiries.

Ensure outbound checking is done for all deliveries, quantity and expiry wise.

Review documentary and systematic investigation of inventory audit findings.

Perform root cause analysis and resolution of discrepancies at the primary stage where possible by taking necessary measures.

Report findings and inventory discrepancies as per defined SOP.

Follow up on discrepancies and report on developments.

Ensure accuracy in investigation of discrepancies and daily monitoring of findings.

Prepare weekly inventory reports.

Qualifications

Graduate preferred; Intermediate minimum.

1-2 years of relevant experience in a multi-tier pallet warehouse.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills.

Possesses exceptional work ethic, energy, and drive.

Knowledge and hands-on experience of WMS.
