role at
Goodwork
We're a tenant law firm dedicated to providing affordable legal services to underrepresented individuals in residential real estate matters. Our mission : to ensure that everyday people have access to the legal system and receive fair representation in tenant-landlord disputes.
We specialize in residential real estate law, focusing on tenant rights, eviction defense, and other housing‑related legal issues. Our innovative approach combines traditional legal practices with modern technology and AI‑powered solutions to deliver efficient and cost‑effective services to our clients, and we actively encourage new ideas to enhance our reach and impact .
Our clients are primarily Florida‑based residential tenants who need legal support but traditionally couldn't afford law firm services. We serve diverse clients from students to families facing housing challenges.
About the Role We're looking for a
remote Legal Marketing & Client Services Associate
to lead marketing across multiple ventures while providing customer support backup. You'll be the first Marketing team member, working closely with our President, Sales, and Legal Practice Managers to create content that drives organic leads and builds genuine connections with tenants who need legal support—plus build engaged communities for our publishing and eCommerce products.
In this role, you'll focus on video content, social media, and community building (80%), while supporting Customer Service with intake and client communication (20%). This gets you close with clients to gain insight about their pain points, language, values, and what drives conversion—intelligence that makes your marketing resonate.
You'll develop content pillars, collaborate with Sales on client questions, and work with Legal Practice Managers on real client challenges. You'll use A / B testing and analytics to see what audiences trust and engage with—letting data drive decisions. This is your chance to shape marketing for a growing law firm while building multiple brand communities from scratch. We're strong with blogging but need someone to elevate video marketing, maintain high‑quality content, and bring rigorous testing to everything.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE Brings 3-5 years of marketing experience with deep analytical capabilities and technical SEO expertise across Web, AI platforms, and Video platforms. You design A / B tests using data rather than guessing. You have experience with DaVinci Resolve and prioritize publishing over perfection. You write strong conversion‑focused copy and use AI tools to accelerate content. You understand community building and ensuring market readiness before launches. Beyond technical skills, you're scrappy—you figure things out before asking for help. You move quickly, comfortable building marketing systems from scratch within legal marketing guidelines when the path isn’t clear. You thrive with freedom to experiment and shape strategy. You work independently and deliver fast. Most importantly, you're driven by impact—you want to help underserved communities access legal support and make a real difference.
Your performance will be measured by social media engagement metrics, consistent posting and video creation, organic lead generation, data‑driven insights from A / B testing, content quality and copywriting excellence, and delivery speed and reliability.
You'll be the first dedicated member of our Marketing team. You'll collaborate closely with Sales team members on email campaigns, Legal Practice Managers on content development, and Customer Support staff during your backup duties. This position reports directly to the President.
Marketing (80%)
Content Strategy & Audience Development : Create content themes that all posts connect back to; gather insights from Legal and Sales about client pain points and common questions; build communities around tenant law, Florida eviction guides, and positive affirmations; test demand before launching new products; plan content that moves people from discovery to purchase; stay flexible as opportunities emerge.
Technical SEO & Content Writing : Write SEO‑optimized blogs on tenant law and publishing topics; handle technical SEO like site structure, schema markup, page speed, and crawlability; optimize for AI search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI); build backlinks through guest posts and partnerships; work with Legal on accuracy; use AI to speed up writing and ideation.
Data Analytics & Systematic Testing : Run A / B tests on email subject lines, ad copy, landing pages, post timing, and formats; analyze Google Analytics and platform data; track engagement, lead quality, CAC, and ROI; test assumptions instead of guessing; document wins and turn insights into repeatable processes; let data guide decisions.
Video Content Production : Edit raw footage in DaVinci Resolve for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long‑form YouTube; chop long videos into clips; keep it authentic and unpolished—that builds trust; add captions, simple graphics, and b‑roll as needed; give script feedback; prioritize consistent publishing over perfect production.
Social Media Management & Community Engagement : Post daily on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok; design graphics and carousels in Canva; write platform‑specific copy; reply to comments and messages to build relationships; create content that moves people from awareness to purchase intent.
Email Marketing : Partner with Sales on email campaigns; segment lists (law firm leads vs. book subscribers); write emails that drive opens and clicks; build automated welcome and nurture sequences; coordinate testing with analytics.
Paid Advertising : Run campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram, and TikTok; target people at awareness, consideration, and conversion stages; work independently or with agency partners; optimize based on performance; scale winners and cut losers using CAC and ROAS.
