We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment and Technology services (the “Services”) to a large number of clients including global, regional and local financial services institutions, governments and other industry partners. As part of our continued success, we are now looking for an ambitious and experienced assistant manager to join our growing team.
Job Purpose
You will contribute to our client’s success by working with this firm’s senior team to maintain and develop all aspects of our client’s financial accounting processes and related controls. In addition, you will assist in regulatory reporting, external & internal audits, and financial risk management matters to help our clients meet their regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of qualified accountants and trainees.
- Support Senior Management with multiple financial mandates.
- Will be the direct point of contact with multiple CEO clients in relation to their financials.
- Be a designated finance officer with DIFC / ADGM.
- Lead the Internal Audit Team in Pakistan.
- Assume responsibility for data integrity and entrance of data into client accounting systems.
- Responsible for accruals and provisions and monthly book closing
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial information
- Prepare client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement.
- Preparation and processing of Financial Reports and Financial Statements.
- Preparation of regulatory returns and timely submission.
- Assist client to meet external and internal auditor’s needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
- Review and reconcile all bank statements for clients.
- Assist with other assigned duties including accounting, internal audit client, or administration roles.
- Planning, coordinating, reviewing, and validating documentation with the utmost attention to detail.

Experience (essential to any successful application)
10-12 plus years of experience preferably in the financial services sector.Big Four experience is a plus.Must be familiar with IFRS accounting standards.Knowledge of sales tax / VAT.Strong experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, etc. is advantageous.Skills

ACCA / CIMA / CA / CFA qualification is a requirement.Master’s degree from a leading university with focus on finance & accounting is advantageous.Compensation & Benefits
