Overview
The Social Mobilizer drives community engagement for the E-Voucher and fortified flour programs, ensuring target beneficiaries understand and adopt project interventions. The role bridges communication between communities and the organization, with a focus on urban outreach in Islamabad and coordination with capital-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Awareness
- Conduct household visits to register / verify beneficiaries using CNIC checks (aligned with BISP / Nadra data).
- Organize community outreach sessions
- Explain E-Voucher redemption processes.
- Promote fortified wheat flour benefits.
- Train on CRM (Complaint Response Mechanisms) and PSEA protocols.
- Distribute IEC materials (flyers, display boards) to retailers and health facilities.
2. Field Operations Support
Support donor visits with community mobilization demonstrations.
3. Data Collection & Reporting
Document field challenges, success stories, and gender-disaggregated participation.Submit weekly activity reports (photos, attendance sheets, feedback logs).Assist M&E teams in PDM surveys and baseline / endline data collection.Ensure female beneficiaries access services safely (e.g. separate sessions for women).Identify vulnerable groups (disabled, elderly) for targeted support.Required Education
Bachelor or Master’s in Social Sciences.
Experience
2-3 years in community mobilization, humanitarian work, or SBCC (experience with NGO / INGO).Experience in urban outreach / stakeholder coordination.Skills
Persuasive communication and active listening skills.Basic smartphone use for digital data collection tools.Female candidates strongly encouraged (to access women-only spaces).Requirements
