Role : Manager Accounts Payable / Senior UK Accounts Manager (needs in-depth experience in UK accountancy and AP processes). Responsibilities Responsibly preparing accounts payable and reporting to management; liaising with vendors and resolving queries; ensuring accuracy of monthly reports by monitoring vendor and customer activities and updating records of monthly payments.
Liaising with suppliers and coordinating efficient financial transactions; monitoring accounts payable documents such as POs, GRNs, and invoices.
Managing a team responsible for invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing and addressing issues that arise.
Developing budgetary plans and authorized monthly reconciliations processes; collating bank statements and resolving concurrent issues; regulating timely payments issuance.
Reviewing and authorizing payment transactions uploaded on the banking portal by the payables team; ensuring tax withholdings and all documentation are complete and accurate.
Authorizing and ensuring completeness and accuracy of entries recorded by the payables team in the ERP (SAP); ensuring all GLs, cost centers, and internal orders are correctly mapped.
Finalizing G / L accounts, preparing VAT reports and reconciling for sales tax submission; assisting in month-end procedures and formulating monthly closing reports in compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance / Accounting, with at least 2–3 years in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
Prior exposure to Accounts Payable processes, vendor management, GRIR clearing, and payment cycles; internal controls & compliance; reporting & analysis.
Strong knowledge of AP processes and tax compliance (WHT, GST, Sales Tax in Pakistan).
Ability to manage vendor reconciliations and dispute resolution.
Understanding of Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), cash flow impact, and working capital.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to foresee upstream and downstream impacts.
Proven experience in service delivery or related field, with a track record of managing teams and meeting SLAs.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP Fiori / Hana.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Looker Studio for reporting and analytics.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
