Accounting Lead

The Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial data, supervising the accounting team, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise, guide, and mentor the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and company policies.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to external auditors.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in developing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper flow of financial information.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).

Minimum [5+] years of progressive accounting experience, with at least [2+] years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting.

Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
