Job Type : Full Time, On-site (Paragon City Lahore)

Timings : 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM (UK shift)

Salary :   PKR 150,000 - 200,000 per month

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various accounting software and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Input sales and expense invoices; enter data into accounting software.

• Record Clients' bookkeeping in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, ensuring accuracy and identifying errors.
• File clients' accounting records and documentation through Virtual Cabinet.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for clients using Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Complete VAT returns and verify the accuracy of related bank transactions.
• Prepare yearly client accounts, including cash flow statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients (as per agreed scope).
• Process clients' payroll, including expense claims and auto-enrolment for pensions.

Support the team with ad-hoc client-related tasks.

Prepare and post journals into the system.

Strong mathematical skills for accurate record-keeping.

Administrative skills for maintaining financial records.

Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software (Microsoft Office, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).

Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for client and internal communication.

Ability to explain complex financial matters in simple, clear terms.

Key Requirements

Must Have : Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, financial accounting, and ACCA affiliate status.

Nice to Have : Experience with Sage, Xero, TaxCalc, BrightPay, and QuickBooks.

Minimum 5 years of experience working with a UK accountancy firm.
