Financial Accountant (UK Based Campany)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to support our accountancy practice from our Lahore office. The role involves handling bookkeeping, preparing and filing statutory accounts, and submitting VAT returns for UK-based clients. This position requires a good understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Experience with UK  accounting practices and software is essential.

The successful candidate will be offered an initial three-month probation period. Upon satisfactory performance, there will be an opportunity for a long-term position within our team.

Job Title : Financial Accountant (Onsite)

Location : Lahore Phase 6, DHA (Lahore)

Work hour s : 9 : 30am to 5 : 30pm

Compensation : PKR 100-250k depending on experience salary

Key roles and responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using UK-compliant
• bookkeeping software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK accounting
• standards (FRS 102, FRS 105).
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns under UK HMRC guidelines,
• including knowledge of Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.
• Communicating directly with clients to collect necessary information,
• resolve queries, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Supporting year-end procedures and audits by preparing working papers and documentation as required staying updated with changes in UK tax legislation, accounting standards, and HMRC requirements.

Skills and experience required

1. Graduate from a reputable university (Finance related degree preferable)

2. Proficient in English written and spoken.

3. Competent in use of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

4. Excellent organizational skills.

5. Adaptable and flexible to work needs.
