Control Systems Engineer – Competency Development

Overview

We are seeking a smart, solution-oriented Control Systems Engineer to design, engineer, and implement automation / control system projects, while also contributing to Competency Management knowledge development within the engineering department. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in control systems engineering, IoT technologies, and process-oriented methodologies (E2 / E3), along with the ability to document, transfer, and strengthen organizational competencies in engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and design of control systems for one or more projects (SC-OPS).
• Develop and review control system architectures, schematics, and design documents .
• Apply solution-oriented techniques to optimize automation processes.
• Work on IoT-enabled solutions for integration with existing systems.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, process requirements , and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smart, efficient, and reliable solutions .
• Perform hands-on configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Support project execution from concept to commissioning.
• Contribute to the Competency Management knowledge framework by :
• Documenting engineering standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Assisting in the development of training materials, technical guides, and competency assessments .
• Sharing knowledge with junior engineers to enhance technical capabilities across the team.
