Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Control)
Job Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Control) to oversee and optimize the electrical systems and machinery in our FMCG manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VFFS packaging machines (ISHIDA, Wolf & Wright), electric motors, switchgear, generators, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). The ideal candidate will lead electrical maintenance, preventive strategies, and new installations to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical System Management : Oversee the plant’s electrical network, including power distribution, switchgear, and control systems.
- Equipment Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues in VFFS packaging machines, electric motors, generators, and VFDs.
- Preventive Maintenance : Develop and implement maintenance schedules for packaging machines and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Installation & Upgrades : Supervise the installation, commissioning, and modification of FMCG machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Automation & Process Control : Work on PLCs, control panels, and electrical automation systems to improve production efficiency.
- Air Conditioning & Power Systems : Ensure proper operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems within the plant.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure all electrical work complies with industry safety standards, technical regulations, and company policies.
- Technical Documentation : Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, repairs, modifications, and equipment performance for reporting and audits.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience : 5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.Technical Skills :Strong expertise in electric motors, switchgear, generators, and VFDs.
Hands-on experience with VFFS (ISHIDA, Wolf & Wright) packaging machines.Proficiency in PLC programming, automation, and industrial control systems.Knowledge of air conditioning systems and power management.Soft Skills :Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
