Position Summary
Fòs Feminista, a leading international intersectional feminist organization, is seeking a creative and strategic Digital Content Officer to join its dynamic communications team. This is a fully remote position, preferably for a candidate based in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for creating and implementing compelling, multilingual (English and Spanish) content across all digital platforms. This role is a unique blend of strategy and hands-on execution; you will develop content plans while also producing, editing, and publishing the content yourself. Your primary mission will be to expand the organization’s digital reach, amplify the voices of its Global South partners, and drive engagement and fundraising for sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice (SRHRJ). The organization is centered on the sexual and reproductive rights and needs of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. By connecting partners across movements, amplifying innovative solutions, and catalyzing political will, Fòs Feminista works to advance an intersectional feminist agenda. Together, the alliance provides essential healthcare services, delivers comprehensive sexuality education, and advocates globally for reproductive justice. Core Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation : Develop and manage a comprehensive digital content calendar aligned with organizational advocacy, programmatic, and fundraising campaigns. Create, edit, and publish a variety of compelling multimedia content (written, visual, video) for all digital channels, including social media, the website, and newsletters. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (designers, videographers) to produce high-quality campaign assets. Manage the organization’s WordPress site, ensuring content is updated and optimized. Community Engagement & Growth : Manage and grow the online community across social media platforms, responding to supporter inquiries and fostering engagement. Build and strengthen relationships with key community members and influencers. Use social listening to monitor digital trends and inform content strategy. Performance Analytics & Reporting : Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Sprout Social and Google Analytics. Prepare regular performance reports, translating data into actionable insights to refine digital strategies and maximize impact. Partner with fundraising and advocacy teams to ensure digital content supports integrated organizational goals. Required Qualifications
Experience & Education : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in digital content creation and strategy, preferably within a nonprofit, advocacy, or international development organization. Skills & Abilities : Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and oral) is mandatory. Proven experience managing content across multiple digital platforms (social media, web, email). Strong proficiency with design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut). Experience managing and publishing content on WordPress. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into accessible and engaging narratives for diverse audiences. Analytical skills to monitor metrics, report on KPIs, and make data-driven decisions. A strong, demonstrated commitment to feminist values, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Compensation and Location
This is a full-time, fully remote position. Candidates based in the
Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region
are strongly preferred. The annual salary is
