Overview

Hubco Insurance Manager role within The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO) focused on safeguarding the company’s assets and interests by managing the placement, renewal, and administration of local and operational insurance policies. This includes ensuring timely and cost-effective coverage, efficient claim settlement, and compliance with corporate requirements while building relationships with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage placement, renewal, and administration of all local and operational insurance policies.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with insurers and brokers to secure optimal coverage.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage including property, vehicles, marine, travel, group health / life, and directors’ liability.
• Handle end-to-end insurance claims process – notification, documentation, surveyor coordination, and settlement follow-up.
• Liaise with Finance and Accounts teams for premium schedules, reconciliations, and claim recoveries.
• Support international reinsurers / brokers with documentation for operational insurance placement and renewals.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and O&M teams during plant inspections and claim assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of policies, claims, recoveries, and deductibles.
• Advise management on insurance coverage gaps, risks, and additional protection needs.
• Build strong relationships with insurance companies, brokers, and loss adjusters to safeguard company interests.
