Responsibilities

managing his assigned post for the duration of his tenure of duty so as to ensure safe and secure environment to all the visitors, faculty, students and employees of IED within the perimeter of his assigned area; assisting the visitors, faculty, students and employees of IED when called for security assistance; controlling the traffic and parking ensuring smooth flow of traffic and parking discipline; controlling visitor flow in the premises of IED by checking identity to ensure adherence to the instructions & orders in vogue and control of unauthorized persons; checking ID cards of the staff, faculty and students to control unauthorized movement by employees and visitors; respond to all emergency calls from control room, adjoining posts & SIRC. assisting in fire and other emergencies; on detection reporting all suspicious acts and baggage to the control room, SIRC & Manager Admin (IED; checking gate passes when deployed on gates or other locations to ensure that no item goes out of IED without due authority; reporting all incidents taking place in his area of responsibility to the Security Supervisor and SIRC by the fastest possible means; performing any task assigned to him by Security Supervisor, Security Coordinator, Manager Security (OC & OP) & Manager Admin (IED); performing special security duties in civvies for observation and investigation as and when required; carrying out the duties / tasks assigned at / outside IED premises; performing the duties of driving the departmental vehicles on required basis if holding a driving license; Requirements

You should have : Experience as trained soldier / combatant in the Pakistan Armed Forces, Rangers, Frontier Corps., Frontier Constabulary, Coast Guard or Police at the level of Non-commissioned Officers or a civilian with at least two years security experience. Experience and service with SSG & Intelligence units would be preferred. Efficiency in handling small arms i.e. Rifles and Pistols. Efficiency in handling communication equipment i.e. Wireless sets & Telephones. Ability to drive preferred. Must be able to read and write Urdu fluently Physically fit & in good health, Must be Medical Category "AYE" (Fit in all respects). To Apply
