General Manager Steel Plant

Job Description :

The General Manager - Plant will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of steel bars and billets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in steel manufacturing and a proven track record in managing large-scale plant operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operational Leadership :

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and production staff.

Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate production scheduling.

Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process.

Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
