A little about the jobWe are seeking an initiative-taking Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting, supporting the preparation management accounts, and key financial operations including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP). This role also involves contributing to ad hoc finance projects and supporting broader team activities as required. We are a fast-paced company so this role will suit someone willing to learn if they can bring the worth ethic and passion for our business.
Financial Reporting & Analysis :
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports to Group.
Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes where required, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Assist in the development of internal reporting tools and dashboards to track key financial metrics.
Management Accounts Preparation :
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant financial data and provide insights into budget vs. actual variances.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and commentary for senior management.
Accounts Receivable & Payable Support :
Provide support to the AR and AP functions, including invoice processing, payment runs, and customer / supplier queries.
Support supplier reconciliation processes and help maintain accurate accounts payable records.Ad Hoc Finance Support :
Assist with financial audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
Contribute to finance process improvements and system implementations or upgrades.
Undertake ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, or administrative tasks as required.
Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent education.
2+ years of relevant experience in a finance, accounting or similar role.
Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and accounting processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
Self-starter, detailed oriented.
Excellent at organisation, with an ability to multitask.
Highly effective communicator (both written and verbal).
Ability to learn fast and adapt to change.
Experience in a global role would be an advantage but ability to be flexible with your diary to accommodate time zones when required.
